The aim of the research was to determine what effect the use of a weighted blanket has on the human body.
Our blankets are made under close supervision of specialists who care about the health and wellbeing of our customers.
We constantly observe, learn and conduct research in which weighted blankets are used.
So far, weighted blankets have been proven to be an invaluable aid that can be helpful with
children with neurotic disorders, as well as falling asleep and getting quality sleep. The aim of our research was to investigate how the Gravity weighted blankets affect the body.
THE COURSE OF RESEARCH
The study was divided into 3 stages:
During the first week, the participants slept under their regular duvet.
In weeks 2 and 3, they used the Gravity Blanket.
In week 4, they returned to using the regular duvet.
Each day, they wrote down their feelings about the quality of sleep.
In addition, they used smartwatches that measured the heart rate, indicated sleep quality, sleep time, the length of the deep sleep phase and the level of stress.
WHAT WERE THE CONCLUSIONS?
All participants during the observation were in their natural environment. Thanks to this, we know how the body reacted when exposed to everyday stress, and we did not change the place of evening rest.
Importantly, none of the participants experienced any discomfort related to the use of the weighted blanket. Nobody commented on the weight, type of filling or materials from which it was made.
As many as 90% emphasized that the blanket is extremely soft and pleasant to the touch.
People participating in the study emphasized that their well-being had improved thanks to the use of a weighted blanket. During sleep, our body regenerates to be able to function well during the day. Take care of your sleep with the Gravity Blanket!

Thanks to the use of a weighted blanket, the vast majority of respondents slept longer and better. On average, their sleep was extended by more than 20%.

A significant proportion of our participants stated that their time to fall asleep was reduced by more than a half. In some cases, they fell asleep in less than 10 minutes.
TIME UNTIL FALLING ASLEEP
As with the length of sleep, the average time to fall asleep significantly improved after 2 weeks of using the Gravity Blanket. With some of the participants they have improved by more than 50%.
The study lasted 4 weeks. In weeks 2 and 3, the participants of the study slept under the Gravity Blanket. Below is their assessment of sleep quality for each of the weeks.
