„My students often tell me that they have difficulty concentrating. I am happy to recommend the relaxing weighted blanket.”
I work as a sleep coach, and every day I am approached by tired parents because their children are not sleeping or sleeping very poorly. Fortunately, it doesn’t have to be this way! Sleep coaching is a needs-oriented and educational opportunity to help families and significantly improve quality of life and sleep. Through training, we assess the causes of the child’s poor sleep, and for each case, the optimal course of action to improve the situation is decided.
In my ongoing search for solutions to sleep problems, I turned my attention to the weighted blanket. The weight of the blanket affects the whole body and helps children and young people relax. In addition, it stimulates the secretion of the sleep-inducing hormone melatonin, while fewer stress hormones are produced. Thus, the blanket is a suitable method to improve falling asleep and the entire sleep quality situation.
The effectiveness of the stress blanket has no age limits. As a social pedagogue at school, I contact children, young people, and parents daily. I often hear that pupils in various classes have difficulty concentrating and find it difficult to focus their attention or sit still for long periods. In such cases, I often find that the children and young people also have problems falling asleep peacefully in the evening. I then recommend using a weighted blanket, which can effectively calm the body down and help them fall asleep better. After all, a restful night’s sleep is a fundamental prerequisite to concentrate on the next day at school or, in the case of adults, to carry out the daily tasks of working life properly.
My whole family now sleeps under a weighted blanket. And my children especially love their cosy fabric.
This product is great, and I happily recommend it!
